Lord Infernicus was the disguise of Jonathan Wellington Muddlemore (aka the Funky Phantom) in Scooby-Doo's feverish dream about attending the Mystery Solvers Club State Finals.
Physical appearance[]
Lord Infernicus resembled a dark red human skeleton, set ablaze with yellow and orange flames. He also had dark brown sclera and light yellow eyes. He wore a bright red robe with slightly tattered bottom edges and a dark red, almost black, scarf-like collar.

Season one[]
Infernicus attacked Scooby, Jabberjaw, Captain Caveman, and Speed Buggy.
Funky Phantom unmasked.
Lord Infernicus was captured and revealed to be Funky Phantom (his real name was actually Jonathan Wellington Muddlemore). Funky Phantom didn't want to be a sidekick anymore. He wanted to be the leader of the mystery gangs. He created Lord Infernicus to scare people away and capture all of the gangs.
He then used dressed guinea pigs in clothes identical to each respective gang to confuse Scooby, Jabberjaw, and Captain Caveman. Funky Phantom planned on sending the real meddlers to Africa, including even his ghost cat Boo.
Funky Phantom would have gotten away with it if it weren't for Scooby-Doo and his sidekicks. Boo the ghost cat became angry that Funky Phantom lied to him, she jumped on and began scratching him.
