Personality[]
Linda loves Daphne so much that she abandoned her job just to spend time with her. However, she can also be smothering and overly protective, such as refusing to let Daphne leave the house due to a serial killer being on the loose.
History[]
Velma[]
She is first seen when she and Donna question Velma, being a prime suspect in Brenda's murder. During questioning, Velma reveals that as children, the two were friends until Daphne abandoned Velma to be with the popular kids. Both agree that Velma couldn't have done it but tell her she has to help them find the killer.
At Brenda's funeral, held at Spooner's Malt Shop, Daphne abuses her moms' position as cops and holding up the case files reveals that Velma is a prime suspect in her murder. She is called out for this by Linda.
Donna and Linda are enlisted as narcs by Crystal Cove High School to find "The Candyman", the school's famed drug dealer. To do so, they pose as high school students. On the same day, Daphne (who is The Candyman) enlists Velma to help her sell drugs. Both are caught by Donna and Linda, who chase them down, not recognizing that The Candyman is their own daughter. However Daphne texts them about wanting a cat, which diverts their attention and they drive away.
Daphne raises enough money for a private investigator and finds her biological parents, who are gang members. They tell Daphne that Donna and Linda stole her from them, in contrast to their account that Daphne was found abandoned in a field. Her father threatens to shoot her, but Donna and Linda arrive on a boat and arrest them alongside the other gang members.
