Lester is a landscape artist and so-called alien abductee who lives in the Roswell, New Mexico area. He is a local patron of Sergio's Diner.
Physical appearance
Lester is an elderly Caucasian male with gray shoulder-length hair and sideburns sticking out of a brown hat which has a red band around it. He wears a bright red waistcoat and a white buttoned shirt tucked into brown pants, and sandals.
Personality
He appears slightly eccentric and crazed, but he's also friendly and hospitable.
History
Early life
He raised a family, which had since moved away.
Scooby-Doo and the Alien Invaders
When Shaggy Rogers and Scooby-Doo burst through Sergio's Diner claiming to have seen aliens, Lester told the whole gang about the time he was abducted and experimented on by aliens. He also said he had lots of pictures of these sort of occurrences.
The gang visited his house to have a look at his pictures but these turned out to be just be his landscape paintings. The walls were plastered with paintings of aliens and models of aliens and spaceships. Since the gang had no place to stay and since there was no hotel in the area he offered them to stay in his house for the night. He gave Daphne Blake and Velma Dinkley a small room with a bunk bed and gave Fred Jones a sofa. Shaggy and Scooby slept on the roof, where they were eventually kidnapped by the supposed aliens.
The next morning, Lester, Daphne, Fred, and Velma returned to the diner to have breakfast, when Shaggy and Scooby met up with them after Crystal dropped them off and were not hungry.
Later on he took Fred, Daphne, and Velma out to a river in his truck and painting trailer to investigate in the canyon for clues.
That night, when the SALF crew was arrested he took the police to his house to show them the "Pictures" of the aliens for proof.

Notes/trivia
- Lester can be considered to be quite "analogous" to Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island character Snakebite Scruggs, having similarities in physical appearance and clothing, but differences in their personalities (Lester is crazed but friendly and approachable, whereas Snakebite is antisocial, arrogant and reclusive).
