Lenora Wainsly was, according to legend, the woman who became the Wedding Witch of Wainsly Hall.

Physical appearance[]

She was depicted as a young woman with brown hair tied into a low-hanging bun and brown eyes, as well as having golden hoop earrings and red lipstick. In her portrait, she was seen wearing a modest brown dress with long sleeves and puffed shoulders. On her wedding day, she was seen in a white, long-sleeved wedding dress, as well as a veil adorned with red flowers.

Personality[]

Lenora was deeply in love with Bayard B. Beauregard, but became very angry when he abandoned her. Filled with rage, she was believed to have cursed him, her home and even herself.

History[]

Early life[]

According to Velma, in the 1880s, Lenora was set to marry Bayard B. Beauregard, the most famous chef in New Orleans. On her wedding day, Bayard cooked and laid out a lavish wedding feast in her banquet hall, but later abandoned her during the wedding ceremony. He left Lenora standing at the altar, leading her to curse the house, the wedding feast and herself. As a result, she was rumoured to have become the Wedding Witch of Wainsly Hall after her death. The wedding feast was left uneaten for over a century and became a historic artifact.

Post-mortem[]

Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?[]

Her legend was used by a food archaeologist who wanted to collect samples of Beauregard's food. Disguising herself as the Wedding Witch of Wainsly Hall, she attempted to scare Mystery Inc. and comedian Jeff Foxworthy away from the mansion to postpone its relocation. She was later captured and unmasked, though she was acquited due to lacking criminal intentions. However, the food was eaten by Shaggy and Scooby, preventing her from getting the samples she needed.
