Lennie Weinrib was an American screen and voice actor, director and writer. He is best known for playing the title role in the children's television show H.R. Pufnstuf, as well as the title role on Hanna-Barbera's Inch High, Private Eye, the voices of the title characters of the Roland and Rattfink shorts by DePatie-Freleng and the original voice of Scrappy-Doo on Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo (first series). In later years, he played Freddy Flintstone on the first season of Hanna-Barbera's The Flintstone Kids, only to be replaced by Scott Menville. He retired in 1994.
Weinrib died of a stroke in 2006, at the age of 71.
