Laura was a member of SALF, an organization in the pursuit of finding aliens.
Physical appearance[]
Laura is a young Hispanic woman with shoulder-long brown hair tied into a ponytail. She wears a yellow button-up blouse with short set-in sleeves and an open collar over a white t-shirt, teal shorts and black and white tennis shoes with white socks. She also applies pink lipstick.
Personality[]
At first, Laura appears as a nice young woman who is dedicated to her job in the SALF station. However, she is later revealed to be a greedy person, as she, along with her colleagues, claim the underground gold mine for themselves, instead of rightfully reporting it to the authorities on what she discovered.
Aside from her greed, Laura is also hotheaded, as she is prone to badmouthing any of her team members if they mess around.
History[]
Scooby-Doo and the Alien Invaders[]
Laura, along with her co-workers, spend their time working in the SALF station in Scorpion Ridge for 24/7. In reality, this is mostly a cover-up, as prior to events from the film, she and her team discovered an underground gold mine, and chose to claim the mine for themselves instead of reporting to the authorities.
When the gang visits the stations, Laura engages in a friendly conversation with them. However, once she discovers the gang approaching to the mines, she and her team disguise themselves as aliens in order to scare them off.
In the mines, Laura chases down Fred, Velma, and Daphne, before finally capturing them on net from a crane. Velma, who managed to finally deduce Laura and the others as the aliens in disguise, forces them to unmask themselves. However, knowing that there is nothing much the gang can do, Laura manages to indirectly unravel the mystery to the gang by revealing her team's plot on claiming the gold for themselves before attempting to bury them in a deep pit.
After discovering Crystal and Amber as being real aliens, Laura goes with Steve's new idea to capture them, as she finds them more worthy than the gold they have discovered. However, a brief struggle with Scooby and Shaggy forces her and Steve to abandon this plan, preferring that they escape. Laura hides behind some oil barrels as Shaggy lost control of the vehicle and was headed towards her. Shaggy hit the barrels and some of the oil landed on her and tried to escape along with Steve. However, Fred, Velma, and Daphne (who manage to escape from their trap), capture her and Steve via the same net she used on them prior.
The authorities later detain Laura and her friends that night, upset that her plan was thwarted by the gang, and that there is no proof she can provide on what she just witnessed from Crystal and Amber. However, after overhearing Lester has "pictures" of aliens, she starts to feel optimistic that people may believe on their claim on alien sighting, much to the amusement of Fred, Daphne, and Velma.
