Kraken Kove was the fourth and final level in Scooby-Doo and Looney Tunes Cartoon Universe: Adventure.
Synopsis[]
The level begins with Brandon warning Scooby not to go to the ghost ship, and he also said that there's a ghost on it. He also told Scooby that it came flying after him with a horrible cry, and razor sharp claws. Brandon told Scooby that it was the ghost of Brownbeard's beloved, Harpy, and that she came back from the dead to haunt his ship. Brandon also exclaimed that they need to get out of there, and it's not safe.
After Scooby saves Fred, he told him that he needs to set his trap, and the ghost of the harpy was after them. Fred asked, "The ghost of the harpy? What happened to the ghost of Brownbeard Corbett?" Suddenly, the ghost of the Harpy appears, and warned Fred and Scooby to go away, and that they don't belong there. Fred tells Scooby that the Harpy is downstairs, and that's where he set his trap. After trapping Harpy, Fred tells Scooby that they need to get her out of there before Brownbeard shows up, and that they need to hurry. Suddenly, Brownbeard appears, and he tells Fred and Scooby to hand her over, and that she's his. Luckily, Fred had a good idea on where to find her. He also said that he found a piece of a map on the ship, and that it looked like it was for the Yi'we cemetery. Fred also said that maybe they will find Daphne, Velma, and Shaggy there.
After Fred and Scooby found Velma, he asked is she ok. And she said that she's fine, and she's just shook up. She also said that she needs to find her glasses, and get out of there. Suddenly, they hear Daphne calling for help, and they went to find her. When they found Daphne, she told Fred that she knew he'd come for her, and she thanks him. Fred said that Scooby's the one that she should be thanking, and that he and his friend rescued him, and Velma, otherwise, they'd be trapped forever. Velma asked Daphne who kidnapped her, and she said that it was the ghost of Brownbeard. She also said that he had her and Shaggy tied up in the hull of the ship - until the harpy came and brought her here. Velma said "Speaking of, where is Shaggy?"
Fred tells the others to stick together, and keep a torch or a light at all times. He also told them that if they see or hear something strange, to which Scooby interrupted him by saying, "Look behind you." Fred said that that's a good one. Scooby said, "No. Look behind you. NOW!" The harpy tells the others to leave if they want to see Shaggy again. Fred tells them that they gotta follow the harpy before she gets away. Velma tells Fred what if she tries to hurt Shaggy. Fred tells her that if they leave for help, Shaggy would be gone by the time they return, or worse.
Suddenly, they heard someone talking about food, and it was Shaggy. Shaggy said that he's glad to see Scooby, and the others. Velma was worried about him, and Shaggy said that's really sweet, and he also said, "Did anyone bring me food?" Then, the harpy and Brownbeard appears, and harpy said that they will pay for this. Fred tells the others that they have to set a trap for Brownbeard. He also said that he managed to get him into the pit, but he'll climb out unless they can cut the rope holding the cage. Fred mentions one thing, and that's how are they going to cut the rope. Velma tells him that she doesn't know, that she can hardly see, and she needs to clean her glasses. Fred told Velma that she just solved their problem. He also said that they can magnify the sunlight to burn through the rope, and trap Brownbeard for good. Velma tells Fred how are they going to do that, and Fred said that they can use crystals. He also said that they can put each crystal on its pedestal, and all they have to do is make sure the beam of light passes through, and hits another crystal.
After they trapped Brownbeard, Velma tells the others that now they'll see who Brownbeard really is. Fred tells her that it's obviously Brandon Johnson, and that he was trying to scare up business for his new museum. After revealing that it's Caylin Lightfoot, she tells the gang that ever since the Trident of Tortuga came to town, everyone tried to find Brownbeard's treasure, and people thought that the treasure was buried in her people's sacred burial ground. So Caylin became Brownbeard to scare them all away. Fred asked her what about the harpy, and he also said is it her too. Caylin told him that she's a real ghost that was summoned by her impersonation of her beloved Brownbeard. Fred tells her that there was no such as a real ghost, and they'll find out who she is. The harpy was revealed to be Alfred E. Newman from MAD Magazine, and Velma said that this can't be right, and it was another mask. Shaggy didn't know what to think about a mask being underneath a mask. When it was finally revealed to be Brandon Johnson, Fred wonders why he dressed up as a harpy, and frighten the townspeople. Brandon tells Fred that so he can get the treasure, and he had half of it already stowed away on his ship. Shaggy doesn't understand why would Brandon dress as the harpy, and he also said that he's not even a girl. Brandon told Shaggy that by the time he started looking for the treasure, Brownbeard was on the loose. He also said that he was scared, but he wasn't going to let a ghost keep him from his goal. He also figured the harpy would scare off Brownbeard, and he happened to have a costume on board his ship.
