Kitty had been in a competition against rival company owner, Dr. La Greed. But an unexpected turnofevents soon started happening when her secret saucer ideas gets taken by a group of aliens and her rival weirdly disguises himself as a sheriff to team up.
She spied on him for a while having her identity hidden as a deputy, and began pestering him about UFOs in hopes for him to slip up and give himself away, but to no avail. They were both visited by the gang at one point when driving through Kansas, and upon hearing about their encounter, decided to join them thanks to some knowledge of the area.
Her saucer was eventually found in a secret underground bunker, the aliens were actually hired help in disguise, and after a quick split up from being locked in her own creation, she snuck up behind La Greed when he was going to finish off Shaggy and Scooby and arrested him for cheating. Thanking them for their help before lending Greed to the authorities.
