Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?
When Batman identified Man-Bat as the potential culprit behind Alfred's disappearance, he went to check up on Langstrom at Arkham Asylum. Langstrom transformed into the Man-Bat and tried to attack Batman, though his cell effectively contained him. It was later revealed that the Joker was posing as Langstrom as a part of his Man-Bat disguise.[1]
Appearances
Appearances in other media
- Created by Frank Robbins, Neal Adams and Julius Schwartz, Kirk Langstrom made his first appearance in Detective Comics #400 (June, 1970).
Notes/trivia
- Dr. Langstrom implies this isn't the first time he's been Man-Bat, which would also imply that the cure may only be temporary.
- Even though Kirk has black eyes during and after his transformation back (his eyes closed before), in the flashback, he has what seem to be blue eyes in mid-transformation.
