The King of Fire is a powerful spirit trapped in the Tome of Doom.
Physical appearance[]
The King of Fire wore what appeared to be a hooded purple cloak over his head.

King of Fire (White).
In the home console version, only his face and hands can be seen out of his cloak. His pale ghost-white face has a long jaw and his eye holes almost seem empty. The inside of his eye holes and his gaping month are filled with an orange almost flame-like glow. The King of Fire's giant hands are very long and boney. His entire body is covered in a giant bright blue flame. When the King of Fire's flame is extinguished his purple cloak becomes white. In the GBA version, his face is completely covered in his cloak however you can see the yellow glow from his eyes and mouth. The wrists of his hands had long chains with cuffs on both ends. His entire body is covered in a giant bright purple flame.
History[]
Scooby-Doo! Mystery Mayhem[]
The King of Fire was released from the Tome of Doom by Selena Drake to attack everyone attempting to incarcerate her. In the GBA version, Shaggy and Scooby lure him into a sprinkler, and try to suck him up after the flame had gone out, however he splits into serval smaller ghosts which they capture too. In the home console version, Shaggy and Scooby distracted the King of Fire by turning on sprinklers so Velma can reverse the antenna's polarity, making it rain. The rain put out the King of Fire's flame, allowing the duo to capture him. However, in both versions, the King of Fire was sucked into the Tome of Doom.
Appearances[]
- Scooby-Doo! Mystery Mayhem
- Episode 5: Hi-Tech Terror
Notes/trivia[]

King of Fire's Hp Icon.

King of Fire (White)'s Hp Icon.
- In both versions of the game, the King of Fire reuses the design of a different enemy. In the home console version, it uses an edited version of the Large Ghosts' 3D model, and in the GBA version, it uses an edited version of the Phantom Shadows' 8 bit sprite.
- Due to this, the King of Fire's design is similar to the Phantom Shadows from A Night of Fright is No Delight.
