Jorge Otero is the son of Alejo and Sofia Otero, managers of the Villa Bella Hotel in Veracruz, Mexico.
Physical appearance
Jorge is a small, preadolescent Hispanic male with black hair. He wears an orange T-shirt, tan shorts, and blue sneakers.
Personality
Jorge is a sweet and cheerful boy, who loves playing with his friends and his dog, Chiquita, who he is very fond of, as he rushed after her when she chased El Chupacabra. He is also brave, as he remained calm enough to flee the beast upon meeting it and appeared unscathed from his terrifying encounter before his father picked him and Chiquita up. He also pretended to be El Chupacabra.
History
Scooby-Doo! and the Monster of Mexico
He was one of the first people to see El Chupacabra, when he chased after his dog and encountered the creature.
When the gang visited the hotel, he was at the pool with his friends and laughed when Scooby-Doo managed to make a fool of himself diving into the pool. He was seen waving goodbye to Mystery Inc. club, his father, and his uncle. Finally, he was at the cemetery, where he pretended to be El Chupacabra and scared his friends. When the creature, itself, appeared, he fled with his family and friends. He was shocked when it turned out to be his uncle's fiancée, Charlene. Everyone then celebrated, with Jorge on top of his father's shoulder, waving and smiling, as they danced a conga line.
