He somewhat shown not being much of a fan of traffic and gets immediately quiet when his wife gives him a mean look. Mostly do to him interrupting conversations.

He was one of the "shady" looking people at the Apple Cider mill the gang had a conversation with about the Mist Monster nonsense going around. He was mainly busy eating while his wife was talking to the gang. She was ashamed that their van went missing after their encounter with the monster, but was interrupted by Jonathan stating that it's one less vehicle than before, and tells them that traffic wasn't that bad the past fifty years of living in Mystic, and immediately stops talking when noticing his wife giving him a mean look for interrupting. And she suggests that the gang should move on to the next town do to the place not being safe anymore.
He was later at the mills parking lot in complete confusion on the mist unexpectedly showing up and leaving, and drove off back home.
