Joe Besser was an American comedian screen actor and voice actor. He is best known for his brief stint as a member of the Three Stooges in short films between 1957–1959. He was also the voice of Babu on the Jeannie animated series (reprising the role in The New Scooby-Doo Movies and Laff-a-Lympics) and Scare Bear in Yogi's Space Race and Galaxy Goof-Ups.
Besser died of heart failure in 1988, at the age of 80.
