Jamison Steven Ripley was the star of TV-series called "The Round Table Gang," which, according to Daphne Blake, was "a teen show about King Arthur." Velma Dinkley was a big fan of the show, especially of Ripley, who portrayed Sir Lancelot (she even had an action figure of Ripley's character from the show). Unfortunately for Ripley, his show was eventually cancelled and the only work he was able to find were at places like renaissance faires.
Physical appearance
Jamison is a Caucasian male with red hair and a beard.
Personality
He's somewhat disillusioned by his role, believing his character to be more than just a TV role. His real self came through when he was busted.
History
What's New, Scooby-Doo?

Jamison is revealed as the culprit.
Season two
He operated the Glasburgh Dragon by remote-control so that he could drive people away and find a treasure that was supposed to be in the castle. In reality, the myth of the treasure was just made up by Ewan McEwan as a way to attract tourists to the fair.
