Powers and abilities[]
- Super strength: The Jaguaro was very strong, as shown when he ripped apart the bridge holding Shaggy Rogers and Scooby-Doo. Also, he had a loud shrieking Growl to frighten anybody that got in his way.
- Anthropomorphism: The Jaguaro could seemly make things come to life with its rage as seen with its idol seemly came to life after a plane crash. However, this was simply Barney in the costume again who in reality stole the idol and hid it in a nearby cave before posing as it.
History[]
The Scooby-Doo Show[]
Season three[]

Barney unmasked.
Barney made a costume based on a legendary Jaguaro, who the local natives worshipped to scare them off from his diamond mining and smuggling operation.
Mystery Inc. was on a plane trip when seemly a malfunction forced the pilots, José and Luis to make an emergency landing in the Brazilian jungle. Then the statue of the Jaguaro came to life seemly came to life after the plane crashed which also angered the "real" Jaguaro. In reality, Barney only stole the idol as part of his scheme and used his costume to make it seem like the idol had come to life. The Jaguaro later attacked Scooby and Shaggy who barely escaped on a makeshift raft. When José caught Barney in the act he kidnapped him and made it look like the Jaguaro attacked his plane. Barney even had his accomplice Luis in on the act making it seem like he escaped the Jaguaro's attack. The Jaguaro later chased the Shaggy and Scooby again while they were being chased by Jaguaro worshipping head-hunters. During this chase he entered the water to attack Scooby and Shaggy on a mostly broken bridge however, he was stopped when the rest of the gang of sleuths broke the nearby dam sending the beast rapidly downstream. The Jaguaro fell over a waterfall, where all but the costume's head was lost, before the broken bridge also came downstream colliding into him and some nearby rocks, trapping him. The Jaguaro was then unmasked and revealed to be Barney who was using the plane to smuggle out diamonds, along with his partner, Luis. Fred later returned the statue to the natives appeasing them. Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase[]
At some point Mystery Inc. told their friend Eric Staufer and inspired him and he recreated the Jaguaro to use as an enemy Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase video game. This Jaguaro wouldn't be a guy in a costume instead it would be the real deal at least within the game.[2]
