When Scooby-Doo saw him, he thought Mr. Grizz was a real bear and bit on its tail. His anger out of being the mascot made him a suspect for being the Baseball Specter, but he was innocent.
He quit when they wanted to fire him from a cannon, commenting he was an athlete, not an idiot.
