Ireland is an island to the west of Great Britain, and to the southeast of Iceland. It is divided politically into the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, which is part of the United Kingdom. The Gang has been there on more than one occasion, twice associated with leprechauns.

Scrappy-Doo caught a leprechaun named Pat O'Wiley, in his Scrappy trap, but the leprechaun refused to tell him where his pot of gold was.[3]

Ridley believed that Dublin would be one of the first places to be taken over by aliens.[5]
