The House of Durant in Coolsville is the home of J. Maurice Durant, the famous consulting detective. It contains a large private museum of Edgar Allan Poe memorabilia.
History
Scooby-Doo (DC Comics)
Durant's best friend, Eddie Newell, called in the gang when the original manuscript of Poe's poem Alone was stolen. The detective was missing and presumed dead.
