After Scooby told the gang about his nightmares, he pointed to the picture of Kharon on Velma's book, 'Supernatural Curses and the Extradimensional Forces Behind Them', and exclaimed 'and he's in there too!'. This prompted them to visit his mansion, and after reluctantly letting them in, he explained how the 'best half' of him was stuck in the Sitting room. He then helped send the gang there through hypnosis, instructing them that they had one hour to give a talisman back to his other self or they would 'never wake up'.[1]

- The house is said to be 'outside of Crystal Cove' although where exactly that is remains unknown. There's no indication that it's part of the nearest known settlement to Crystal Cove, Gatorsburg.
- The mansion is littered with pictures of the Monstrous Freak, which Kharon said he saw repeatedly in his dreams. The gang later found out that it had also appeared in the dreams of Fred Jones, Sr., who would use it as his inspiration for dressing up as the Freak of Crystal Cove.
