The homeless man appeared in a dream of Mystery Inc. He was the figment of Velma's subconscious mind while she was in a trance.

Physical appearance[]

The homeless man was an ordinary man with long, disshevelled brown hair, a mustache, and a beard. He wore a ragged orange sweater with a patch.

Personality[]

The homeless man never interacted with Mystery Inc., but walked around town with a sign. Velma thought little of him, though she found it peculiar she did not recognize him.

History[]

Scooby-Doo (DC Comics)[]

When a hypnotic gun placed Mystery Inc. in a dream-like trance, placing them in a dream world of their nightmares, Velma spotted the homeless man walking around town with a sign reading "WAKE UP! The end is near." Velma thought little of it at the time, but later, when townspeople transformed into monsters and forced Mystery Inc. to barricade themselves in a diner, Velma noticed the homeless man among the crowd, not transformed into a monster like the others. Connecting the sign to other clues around town, she realized the homeless man was hinting at her to wake up, telling her she was dreaming. This woke Mystery Inc. from their trance and allowed them to pursue the perpetrators.
