History[]

Scooby-Doo (DC Comics)[]

Mystery Inc. had arrived there to watch the school's football team, "the Devils", plays. Velma stated that this team had won more championships than any other team in the state. It turns out that back when Velma was a student there, she got sent to detention once for an "overheated debate" with a student called Mickey Murphy.

The school was haunted by a Demon who abducted the school's head cheerleader, Jenny Lynn. Turned out it was Knox Jerkins who done that in hopes of making her break up with her boyfriend, Lewis Lippkie.

Notes/trivia[]

  • Whether it is the same school as shown in "The Spirit Spooked Sports Show" isn't stated.
  • Coach Sperlokski's outfit indicates that Velma's High School (DC Comics) starts with a V

Coach Sperlokski's outfit indicates that Velma's high school starts with a V.

Coach Sperlokski's outfit has the letter V on it, indicating that the high school's name must start with a V. It could be a nod to Velma's private name.
  • Coolsville High School (DC)

Shaggy calls Coolsville High, "[the gang's] alma mater".

In the following story, "Cheers for Fears", the whole gang are said to have attended Coolsville High School and graduated from this school (though Velma is shown to have attended another school in "The Spirit Spooked Sports Show", and Daphne and Shaggy were shown to do so as well in "The Crazy Carnival Caper" along the way). Shaggy calls Coolsville High, "[their] alma mater," with the plural implying the whole gang.
