Heather North Kenney was an American actress and voice artist. She was most notable as having performed the voice of Daphne Blake in almost all incarnations of Hanna-Barbera 's Scooby-Doo Saturday morning cartoon series. Before that, she started her career on the soap opera Days of our Lives . She also starred opposite Kurt Russell and Raffles the Chimpanzee in Disney's The Barefoot Executive .
North was the second actress to voice Daphne; she replaced Stefanianna Christopherson after the first season of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! due to the latter marrying and moving away. She continued to voice Daphne until 1997 (not counting A Pup Named Scooby-Doo ), when Mary Kay Bergman took over, replacing North after a day of recording for the first DTV film, Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island . She returned temporarily for the DTV films Scooby-Doo! and the Legend of the Vampire and Scooby-Doo! and the Monster of Mexico .
