History[]

Scooby-Doo (DC Comics)[]

Mr. Platt, an artist who lives in Appledown County, reminded fix it shop owner Mr. Scane, plus the gang, his encounter with the same Bone-eating Ogre Scane encountered on the roof of his store. The creature was reportedly found running past his front yard, but was shortly attacked by the Headless Horseman, who used a flaming sword as a weapon.

Shaggy and Scooby later had a short encounter with the Horseman when they were looking for something to eat at the park, but disappeared after the two tried reporting it to Sheriff Halls.

The Headless Horseman was discovered to be just a painting drawn by Platt, which was also projected to look real just to give their hometown more interest, both him and Scane were forgiven for their actions however as no harm was attempted. Even though they never seemed to learn their lesson as they talked about how their convincing special effects managed to scare the townsfolk.
