Early life[]
It was worn by a crook who Mystery Incorporated brought to justice. They later donated the costume to the Coolsonian Criminology Museum.
Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed[]
The Headless Horseman was put on display in the Coolsonian Criminology Museum. Later, the costume was stolen along with all the others by the Black Knight Ghost, the 10,000 Volt Ghost (Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed) and the Evil Masked Figure. It was not brought to life, however; it could have been brought to life but just not featured in the movie. The costume was later returned to the museum.

- It is based on the Headless Horseman from the The Scooby-Doo Show episode The Headless Horseman of Halloween.
- There was a deleted scene in the Monster Hive where Shaggy kicked off his pumpkin head and his body ran into a wall.[citation needed]
- The Headless Horseman was originally going to be brought to life in the film. He was going to be played by David Paul Grove. However, due to budget cuts and changing effects shops, he was scrapped. He does, however, appear in the video game.
