What's New, Scooby-Doo?[]

Season two[]

Haze protested the Grind Games, a skateboarding tournament that temporarily occupied the Red Persons Troupe's performance arena. Their protests coincided with the attacks of the San Franpsycho, supposedly the ghost of an Alcatraz prisoner. Mystery Inc. suspected Ferlinguini for posing as the ghost after seeing him appear to sabotage the stage with tools; he claimed that he was using the tools to build a replacement stage for his troupe.

Scooby, Shaggy and Velma further investigated Haze by inspecting his recreational vehicle while he was rehearsing with his troupe. They found costumes and makeup, proving he had the means to pose as the ghost. Ferlinguini almost caught them, but after they doused red paint on themselves, he mistook them for his own performers. They fled after his actual performers arrived.

He was later found innocent after Mystery Inc. instead incriminated Rutie Banez, one of the tournament judges, for the crime.
