Harriette Grabbler was the nextdoor neighbor of Gideon Van Pelt.
Physical appearance[]
Harriette is a tall, middle-aged woman with her hair tied to a bun. She wore a long sleeve shirt with a flower pattern around her neck, and the rest of her outfit wasn't shown do to being seen standing behind her handyman and his computer desk.
Personality[]
She can be rather violent when talking about the subject of dogs, in particular her Irish wolfhound Bruce, and had been making assumptions about being cheated out by her neighbor's dog during shows. However, she later got greedy and was determined to steal jewelry that was rumored to be buried somewhere in her neighbors yard.
History[]
Early life[]
Mrs. Grabbler was a winner at dog shows when her Irish wolfhound Bruce of Donegal became number one champion. But at one point, she became angry and claimed that she and Bruce were getting cheated out by her neighbor, Gideon Van Pelt, for thinking that his small pet poodle Fifi would beat Bruce of Donegal in being the best.
Scooby-Doo and the Haunted Doghouse[]
In the following year, a jewelry theft happened in San Francisco and the thieves responsible buried them in Gideon Van Pelt's yard. Upon hearing about this, she hatched up a scheme to scare Gideon away so she could steal them herself.
She brought in Ken Griffiths, her handyman, and Bruce of Donegal. Ken would use his tech skills and made a special projection effect of Bruce, depicting him as a green glowing ghost dog, which he would control on his computer and project the image from the study, all the way to Fifi's doghouse, and sometimes in the fields, only around night time. Once the ghost dog was enough to scare Gideon and the others away, they would head out to the exact spot where the original thieves left the jewels and dig them up.
However, she and the others were eventually caught awhile later after the original crooks were apprehended, as the obviously bright lights gave them away, and Gideon called the police. Harriette and Ken were arrested two weeks later, while Bruce was presumably disqualified from any future dog shows when the word got out that he was caught during an aid in the theft.
