History[]

Scooby-Doo and Looney Tunes Cartoon Universe: Adventure[]

The Harpy first suddenly appeared while the gang was mainly dealing with the Ghost of Brownbeard Corbett, taking away Daphne and Shaggy when they were tied up at the hull of the ship and to the nearby Sacred Burial grounds.

Brandon Johnson, businessman planning on building his own museum, warned Scooby to not go onto the ship as he claimed he was nearly clawed by the ghost of Brownbeard's beloved Harpy, who showed up out of nowhere after he left, threatening him to leave by attacking, but Scooby managed to avoid getting hit.

The Harpy later showed up after Scooby and another friend rescued Fred, threatening them for being on the ship, just before racing down stairs, unaware that it was the spot where Fred laid a trap, which the friend springs up catching her. Before they could take her off the ship and be unmasked, Brownbeard's ghost shows up and interrupts them, stealing Harpy back before fleeing to the burial grounds.

The Harpy remained hidden the entire time while Brownbeard did most of the work trying to keep Scooby's friend at bay. But after the rest of the gang were either rescued, the two attack and were knocked into a large hole to be trapped, the friend followed Fred's plan to catch them by taking four crystals and causing light to reflect and burn some rope holding up a large cage, which successfully worked.

Alfred E. Neuman

THE MASCOT OF M.A.D MAGAZINE?!?

After hearing about Caylin Lightfoot's story of why she haunted the place to protect it from people digging in her sacred burial grounds, they then unmask the Harpy, which revealed Alfred E. Neuman, the mascot of M.A.D magazine. This fools the gang for a bit while the two cowards were happy seeing him and wanted an autograph, but Velma deduces it and states it's a secondary mask, pulling it off to reveal.
