Personality[]
The manager is a very business-focused man, the carnival he manages seems to be his top priority at all times. He’s very blunt to the point of being rude sometimes. He runs his carnival with an almost mob mindset he normally tries to keep things within the carnival to the point he chooses to violently punish Charlie instead of bringing him to the police.
History[]
Scooby-Doo Mystery (Sega Genesis)[]
Charlie, a dart attendant at Ha Ha Carnival, applied to be a clown several times but every time he was denied by the manager due to how unfunny he was; this motivated Charlie to become the evil clown, and one of the things he did was kidnapping the manager, and wrapping him up like a mummy and hid him inside a coffin within the haunted house. He somehow left a note in a bottle saying where he was; Shaggy and Scooby find the note, and this is one of the clues that allow them to figure out where he was being held captive. When he was rescued by them he thanked the duo and shared what he knew about the Evil Clown; then he ran back to his office. Eventually, he and the rest of Mystery Inc. make a plan on how they're going to stop the Evil Clown. He tells the strong guy that Shaggy and Scooby are allowed in the employee area. The gang eventually catches the Evil Clown and unmasks him to be Charlie. After Charlie explains his plan to take over the carnival so he could finally become a real clown, the manager then points out he will never be a clown since he’s not funny. As thanks, he makes everything at the carnival free for Mystery Inc.. The strong guy asks what they’re going to do with Charlie, and instead of taking him to the police, he orders the strong guy to use the hammer game to send Charlie into orbit.
