Gridley Tunnel was an underground tunnel located in Yokohama, Japan, serving an unknown purpose. Mystery Inc. visited the tunnels after their previous crime scene collapsed, leading Scooby to dig them to safety in the tunnels to escape the rubble. Hamill claimed the tunnels were haunted, but this claim was unfounded as Mystery Inc. never encountered such ghost. Instead, they met a suspect, physical education teacher Coach Roachner, and followed the tunnel to a Shinto shrine.
