The Golden Knight Phantom was the disguise of Lyle Glitz.

Physical appearance[]

The disguise closely resembles the award statuette, except that it's wearing a purple and black suit and gloves, a long with a very large cape and collar.

Personality[]

A sneaky individual, shutting off the power during the Golden Knight Awards so he could plan a sneak attack on unexpected people.

History[]

Scooby-Doo Readers[]

The phantom had been secretly robbing the award ceremonies vault containing envelopes with names of various actors who won. Which all at some point brought the attention of Glenda Starr, authorities and the gang.

While everyone, minus Shaggy and Scooby, were busy checking around the theater for clues, he shut off the power and planned a sneak attack on the two cowards after interrupting their food collecting.

He eventually did get the jump on the two when they flucked the lights on in a dressing room. It then led to a chase down a hallway that ended on the two discovering the empty vault where the awards formerly were, but were trapped when he slammed the door shut behind them. Before he could finish the two off, Fred and the rest arrived just in time to open the vault door thanks to the loud commotions, and unmask the phantom as Lyle Glitz, an actor who constantly lost at the awards.
