- Originally broken up into two $0.99 cent issues on Comixolgy. The format was dumped for issue 3.
- The Robin featured in this issue is actually the third Robin in DC Comics, Timothy "Tim" Drake (specifically in his DC Animated Universe design). Every previous appearance of Robin in Scooby-Doo media has been of the first Robin, Richard "Dick" Grayson.
- Issue 4 of this series features Dick as his adult alter ego, Nightwing, and explains he grew out of the role and that there is a new Robin.
