Gloom and Doom Down in the Tomb! is a level in the video game, Scooby-Doo! Night of 100 Frights.

Premise[]

Through this level the player can enter A One Way Trip To the Crypt! , and The Mystery Machine.

Synopsis[]

Part 1[]

You need 600 Scooby Snacks to enter this level.

This level contains 72 Scooby Snacks.

Shaggy is on fire and running around and asks Scooby to get rid of the Gargoyles nearby. Once all of them are killed the fire on Shaggy is put out. Shaggy thanks Scooby and offers to help him get the key. Scooby acquires the key however a witch appears and begins chasing Shaggy.

Part 2[]

This level contains 134 Scooby Snacks.

A standard platforming level.

There are 4 coffins in this level with 4 boxes of Scooby Snacks inside them. Each coffin is opened by Super Smashing a button on the lower level, however, each time the level is loaded, 3 of the coffins will have ghosts inside instead of Snacks. The coffin without ghosts is random each load, and can be a coffin that has already dispensed Snacks before, in which case, it will just be empty. To collect all the Snacks in this level, keep reloading the level and opening the coffins until you have collected all 16 boxes of Snacks.

Part 3[]

This level contains 58 Scooby Snacks.

Scooby is walking around when he sees Daphne being kidnapped by the Mastermind, who quickly begins to run away while Daphne pleads for help. Scooby begins to run after them but trips, rolling into a ball and hitting the Mastermind like a bowling ball, causing the Mastermind to get flung into the air and dropping Daphne in the process. Daphne falls onto Scooby, who quickly runs away, and the Mastermind lands perfectly on his feet and begins chasing after them. While they’re, being pursued, Daphne begins untying herself, and she quickly does. The Mastermind gets upset, claiming they won’t get away that easily; Scooby gets angry with him since he’s claiming it was easy. The Mastermind says “this an old friend of yours who is dying! to see you” before summoning the Green Ghost. Daphne is shocked that the Green Ghost has seemly returned. The Mastermind claims they don’t have a “ghost” of a chance before vanishing within a bright light.

Boss fight:[]

Arena: There are three coffins with buttons in front of them.

Phase 1: There are a couple of plants around the arena but they don’t attack. The Green Ghost randomly, but not often, charges a green fireball causing the laser to shoot out from him and swing around the arena, as soon as the laser stops firing the Green Ghost slowly tosses the fir ball at Scooby and when it hits the ground green energy spreads around the impact before going out into smoke. Daphne randomly will open coffins that can be used to suck up the green ghost. Phase 2: The plants start to attack. However, depending on how far they are. Phase 3: The plant's attack at the same time now. Defeat: The Green Ghost waves goodbye as he’s sucked into the coffin.

Daphne says Scooby did a good job but she wonders why the Green Ghost is here. Scooby says their many ghosts before Daphne reminds him that the Green Ghost wasn’t really a ghost. But Scooby brings up The Creeper and the Black Knight. Daphne asks if him if he saw them as well and Scooby confirms that he did. Daphne thinks it's strange that villains from their past are showing up again and Scooby agrees. All of a sudden a witch flies down and laughs before flying through a wall. Scooby cowers in fear saying that is a ghost and Daphne, terrified hiding behind a grave, confirms she saw it. Holly Graham, appearing suddenly behind a tree, touches Daphne on the shoulder scarring her and Scooby. Holly tries to calm them down by saying it's just her. Daphne is glad to see her since Scooby and her have been seeing some strange things. Daphne then asks what this is and points at a strange blue box. Holly says she found a box full of her uncle’s inventions but; she doesn’t know why it's here since he normally keeps them in his super secret lab where he comes up with all his inventions. Holly thinks there could be something in the box they could use, Daphne thinks there could be a clue in the box, and Scooby thinks there could be Scooby Snacks in the box. They pull some things out of the box like a solar-powered nightlight, an underwater tennis racket, microwave safe ice cube tray, and an umbrella. Holly says that the umbrella is one of her uncles more useful inventions. Daphne sits on a grave and the ground Holly and her were standing on flips over via some kind of mechanism. Scooby is alone once again.
