The Giant Squid was a large balloon created by Hugo.
Physical appearance[]
It's a giant whitish-pink squid with dots, gray sclera eyes and long tentacles.
Personality[]
It's a hostile and territorial creature, attack people who enter the Perito Moreno Glacier, despite it's large size, it can plan surprise attacks through small tunnels.
History[]
Scooby-Doo! World of Mystery[]
It was first sighted by Professor Borges, a scientist who made the discovery of an old fossil of a crocodile in an ice cave, and it scared him and his team away from the area, he later got the gang involved and flagged the area where he found it.
It attacked the gang at two different moments, the first being when they were inspecting the hole Borges flagged them to check, and scared them out of the area and back to town. The second being when they were letting Shaggy and Scooby down the hole by the use of climbing rope. It tried to grab them, but they climbed out just in time and they all fled to a nearby ice cave.
It attacked the gang one last time in the caves, trying to prevent them from finding the shadowed person who tried to hide, but with their quick thinking, they wrapped it's tentacles with the rope, which caused pressure to build up in the squids head. Fred notices it and tells everyone to be careful, but it ended up making the squid explode, revealing that it was an inflatable balloon.
The culprit was caught shortly after, as it turned out to be Hugo. A journalist/thief who wanted to steal the fossil and add it to his collection of stolen minerals, and created the squid balloon by filling it with the air from a heater he stole from a hotel some time ago.
