Season 1[]
Joker and Penguin created the giant bat to frighten and intimidate intruders in their cave.
After seeing Fred, Daphne and Velma looking around their cave, the villains activated the bat and sent it chasing after Fred and the girls around the cave.
While Joker and Penguin were busy with Shaggy and Scooby, Batman and Robin spot the giant bat threatening Fred and the girls with a stalactite, and threw their Batarangs at it, destroying it, much to the surprise of Fred, Daphne and Velma after seeing it as a fake.
