For other versions, see Giant (disambiguation).

The Giant, also referred to as Huge McFinn, was a robot controlled by Colin McQuaid.

Physical appearance[]

The giant was a massive, muscular being, being about as tall as the trees in the forest. It had one red eye, brown hair tied in a bun, and a beard also tied. It wore a simple brown kilt held up by a strap extending to the shoulder, as well as brown furry wristbands.

Personality[]

The giant was extremely hostile and aggressive and attacked all people which approached Ballyhall castle and its surrounding forest. It is not afraid of causing property damage, destroying vehicles and parts of the castle. Despite this, being an animatronic, it avoids water and refuses to pursue its prey in bodies of water.

Skills and abilities[]

The giant's primary advantage is its sheer size; being taller than most of the trees in the forest, it is able to cause large amounts of damage, crushing an entire vehicle with a single step and uprooting trees out of the ground with ease. Its gargantuan size also does not come at the cost of agility, as it is capable of fighting with immense strength and speed.

However, being an animatronic, the giant cannot get wet, as coming into contact with a significant amount of water will short-circuit its mechanisms and cause it to stop working. Also, despite being a robot, it is somehow capable of feeling pain, as the heat of the Mystery Machine's exhaust was sufficient to burn the giant's hand and harm it.

Colin McQuaid is revealed as the culprit

Colin McQuaid is revealed as the culprit.

The giant was an animatronic created by Colin McQuaid, who wanted to transform Balleyhall Castle into an amusement park but had to drive the gang out of the property. Based off the legend of Huge McFinn, McQuaid claimed the giant drove the Blake Family out of the castle centuries ago but reemerged to prevent the gang from returning. The giant was first spotted in the forest destroying a vehicle.

After encountering the gang on three separate occasions, the animatronic was destroyed after falling into a lake, short-circuiting its mechanisms. McQuaid was incriminated as the perpetrator and handed over to authorities. However, while he was being arrested he claimed the gang got his plan wrong and his real scheme was "much more sinister."
