The Ghost of Rufus Raucous was the disguise of Phylidia Flanders, impersonating the so-called ghost of the believed-to-be-deceased Rufus Raucous. She did so in the hopes that she could get revenge on Del Stone because he wouldn't let her become the headline performer with her own magic act after Rufus' disappearance.

Physical appearance[]

He wore exactly the same outfit that Rufus Raucous wore for his magic acts (which consisted of a dark gray jacket and matching pants, black shoes, white gloves, a purple cape with a large collar and an indigo exterior, and a white skull-like mask with a large black X going over the centre of it), with the only exception being that his cape was tattered.

Personality[]

He was shown to be almost completely ruthless, since he attempted to harm both the gang, Rufus and Lindsay Pagano numerous times before being caught. He was however also shown to be a bit gullible as he fell for Shaggy and Scooby's antics at least twice.

Powers and abilities[]

  • Flight: The illusion of flight and levitation was a magician's trick.
  • Pyrokinesis: He could shoot flames from his hands. Not explained, but no doubt a staged trick was used.
  • Animation: He could bring things to life.
