The Ghost of Redbeard was the disguise of C.L. Magnus, the owner of a steamship line.

Physical appearance

Redbeard's Ghost resembled a middle-aged Caucasian male, with a red beard, hence the name. He dressed in red pirate clothing.

Personality

He seemed to enjoy the pirate role, including taking prisoners and chaining them up, or forcing them to cook for him.

Mr. Magnus unmasked.

Magnus's business was losing profit, so he did the logical thing of stealing his own cargo for the insurance, while disguised as Redbeard's Ghost, with two henchmen disguised as his crewmen. He was foiled by Mystery Inc..
