The Ghost of Jake Bogart was a projection made by John Babcock, who wanted to take Jeff Lepard's job as warden of Flotsam Prison. The projection was based on the deceased inmate, Jake Bogart.
Physical appearance[]
Jake Bogart's ghost was depicted as a giant with blue skin, green hair, red eyes surrounded by shadow and sharp teeth. He wears a black and white striped prison uniform while also being surrounded (sometimes covered) in smoke and flames.
Personality[]
He was depicted as a revengeful, and demanding leader. Planning on starting a riot in Flotsam Prison and getting rid of the warden, even threatening to make worse consequences to those that try to denie his plan.
History[]
Early life[]
Jake was a former inmate at Flotsam Prison for an unknown amount of time, until he died during an accident at a cricket match involving the back of his head getting hit very hard. But before his death, he vowed revenge.
Scooby-Doo (Archie Comics)[]
Jake's ghost would later start randomly appearing at night at the D block, initiating a riot, which would later lead to a big plan on going after the prison's warden, Jeff Lepard. Jeff would later tell the situation on the news, and then get the gang's involvement (Mostly Fred, Shaggy and Scooby going undercover as fake inmates while Daphne Velma and Scrappy were out looking for information).
He did show up immediately when the three undercover inmates were about to slip in at the D block, causing them to bump into some of the others. Afterwards, he interrupted the prisoners talk and riled them up to explain about his demands, as he wanted Jeff gone, but was interrupted by Fred telling him he couldn't do that, just for him to yell back bad consequences if he didn't join on the scheme. By picking him up and throwing him down.
His ghost later appeared the following night (the day the riot starts), but was unaware of Fred sneaking off checking if some of the theories he knew about were true.

John revealed as the culprit.
Thanks to some rumors Fred was able to hear about, he snuck into a room and discovered that John Babcock, one of the guards, turned out to be the responsible one, as he previously tried to get the job as warden and also faked being tied up whenever the prisoners were being visited by "the ghost", that being a projection. John tried to quickly shoot Fred in an attempt to stop him, but was interrupted by Shaggy and Scooby scaring him with a ghost disguise, which lead to him getting disarmed, and later arrested.
