The Ghost of Bugsy Swarm was the disguise of Bert.

Physical appearance[]

He is a ghost in appearance of a middle aged human with black hair. He wore a gray hat and trenchcoat, gray striped pants and black shoes.

Personality[]

He had a very gangster style personality in using words like "Nyeh!" and "See?". He was also pretty creepy, and sometimes gets a good laugh seeing people run away.

History[]

Scooby-Doo! (DC Comics)[]

He suddenly appeared out of nowhere when Bill Ding was filming a new episode Extreme Homewrecker! Scaring away all thirty construction workers who were originally tasked in giving Bugsy Swarm's home a new look after it was abandoned since 1926.

He later went to torment Shaggy and Scooby by taking Shaggy's hammer he was meant to use for knocking down a wall for some extra dining room space, scaring them into crashing through the wall, and later found them in the bathroom after they accidentally bumped into Fred trying to unscrew a waterpipe, and also confusing a construction worker into thinking they were ghosts themselves thanks to being coded in white paint.

They run away yet again and he nearly catches up, but in the process of it, Daphne and Velma unintentionally intercept by hitting him with a rolling red carpet, sending him flying and crashing into a weak wall. Where Shaggy was able to reveal it was a construction worker named Bert.

Bert unmasked (This Old Haunted House)

Bert unmasked.

He dressed up as the ghost to scare everyone away so he could find Bugsy Swarm's lost loot, which ironically was hidden in the wall he crashed into behind him. Bert was later arrested for his crimes, and some of the money was given to the gangster's nephew Luke and his family.
