History[]
Scooby-Doo and the Haunted Doghouse[]
The ghost dog randomly started appearing in spots around Gideon Van Pelt's yard, showing up at night after the events of a jewel robbery that happened in San Francisco and just eeriely standing and letting out howls. It gotten bad to the point that his dog Fifi, was so scared that she spent the rest of the time sleeping in the mansion rather than her miniature doghouse replica of Gideon's home.
It would later reappear in the yard in different areas doing the same thing. Popping in, eerie howl, disappear, and never really attack anyone. It seemingly stopped showing up one night when the gang encountered and captured thieves responsible for the jewel thefts. But after the police came to take the crooks away, it came back to continue letting out it's usual eerie howls, but it was revealed later on that Gideon's next door neighbor, Harriette Grabbler, along with her handyman Ken Griffiths were responsible. The two of them heard of the thefts and used her pet dog Bruce for special effects, which Ken projected and controlled from a computer to make the ghost seem legit, all because they wanted to scare Gideon away so they could take the jewels themselves.
