The Ghost Clown was a costume put on display at the Coolsonian Criminology Museum. It wasn't brought to life by the Evil Masked Figure.
Physical appearance[]
The ghost clown wore a white clown suit with sparkles. The costume had rainbow tufts around the hands and neck. He had big clown shoes, a red nose, red circles around his eyes. for his hair, he had long white hair on the sides and a blue and red propeller hat on top.
History[]
Early life[]
It was worn by a crook who Mystery Incorporated brought to justice. They later donated the costume to the Coolsonian Criminology Museum, where it stood on display for visitors to see.
Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed[]
The Ghost Clown was put on display in the Coolsonian Criminology Museum. In the intro of the movie, the Ghost Clown could be seen in numerous shots up until the pterodactyl ghost break in. Later, the costume was stolen along with all the others by the Black Knight Ghost, the 10,000 Volt Ghost and the Evil Masked Figure. it was not brought to life, however, It could have been brought to life but just not featured in the movie. The costume was later returned to the museum.
Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed (GBA)[]
The Ghost Clown costume was on display in the background of the Coolsonian Criminology Museum stage, and later appeared as one of the enemies attacking Shaggy when he was trying to escape the Faux Ghost.

Notes/trivia[]

- It is based on the Ghost Clown from the Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! episode Bedlam in the Big Top.
- As seen in the behind the scenes footage, concept art of the Ghost Clown from Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! is used on the museum plaque for the costume. This was also done for the majority of the other costumes.
- The Ghost Clown had multicolored blinking lights on its costume that aren't well noticed from a distance.
- The Ghost Clown was one of the few monsters (costume or real) in the film to bear little to no resemblance to his mainstream counterpart, Another being the Tiki Witch Doctor.
- The Ghost Clown originally was going to be brought to life in the film, he would've been played by choreographer Paul Becker. However, for unknown reasons, the Ghost Clown was scrapped and replaced with Captain Cutler's Ghost. it does appear in the GBA game and Scholastic novelization.
