The Ghost Chef was the disguise of Zara, an employee at Brainsplosion Games. It was based on the final boss of Brainsplosion Games' Protein Titans 2.
Physical appearance[]
The Ghost Chef was an obese, blue male with glowing red eyes, a moustache and a stained chef outfit, hence the name. He had an ascot that had a skull on it, along with a food cannon that he carried on his back, containing green energy that fired pixelated food.
Personality[]
Just like in Protein Titans 2, the Ghost Chef was a hostile monster who attacked victims by shooting at them with his food cannon. He also had a slight French accent in the game.
Equipment[]
- Cannon: The Ghost Chef was equipped by a handheld, bazooka-like cannon that fired glowing-green food items. The items were real and edible, but Shaggy and Scooby feared him for weaponizing food against them.

Season two[]
The Ghost Chef was the disguise of Zara, a worker at Brainsplosion Games, who wanted to terminate her intellectual agreement with the company so she could sell her video game to a rivalling company. The disguise was based on the final boss in the video game Protein Titans 2, and she used her engineering skills to develop the costume and a cannon that fired food. The Ghost Chef first attacked a janitor new at the company, and after the attack was reported, many employees began working from home out of fear of the monster.
Zara unmasked.
When the gang visited the company headquarters in San Francisco so Velma could sell her computer algorithm, the Ghost Chef began attacking the group as they toured the campus. He first attacked Shaggy and Scooby in the cafeteria, then followed them to Fred and Daphne in the game-testing room. Later, when Velma rejoined the group, the monster reappeared and attacked them as well. However, the gang set a trap for him where they lured the monster to the top of the slide, then Shaggy and Scooby dodged his launched food and tackled them down a slide and into a net. Zara was unmasked, exposed, and handed to police for her crimes.
