He was a big fan of the Chi-Town Sharks and wanted to bring them good luck with his pet boar Eullabelle. But got angry when he was forced to leave after not being able to, swearing that the team will be cursed.

In 1945, George Delbert was a fan of the Chi-Town Sharks and wanted to bring his pet boar Eullabelle as he seen it as good luck for the team, but was denied access because he wasn't allowed to bring him in. After trying to give a reason, he was forced to leave and he swore that without Eullabelle, the team will be cursed, and never be in the big leagues ever again.
Years later, the current owner of the Chi-Town Sharks, Midge Shaft, used the story of the curse and disguised a lawnmower as the ghost of his boar to scare away her own team
