Gar Mooney was the graveyard caretaker of the Salem Cemetery.
Physical appearance[]
He is an elderly man with gray hair, bushy eyebrows, mustache stubble and a hairy chin. He wore a light brown jacket over a pale green shirt, reddish-brown pants, brown boots and a beige-gray hat.
Personality[]
He seemed like a nice elderly gentleman, but he was in reality bribed by Arlene's twin to help her with her scheme, revealing a greedy and immoral side to his personality.

Season three[]
He helped Arlene Wilcox’s twin sister to scare her away. He was the first to inform the town of the ghost and was believed to be a good friend of Arlene. This was not true, however, for he had designed the costume for the Ghost Witch of Old Salem, the disguise of Arlene's twin, based on their ancestor Milissa Wilcox, who was accused of being a real witch. After Mystery Inc. exposed their plan, Mooney and Arlene's sister were arrested by Squire Marley.
