This article about Greek Fred from the Be Cool, Scooby-Doo! episode Greece is the Word. For other incarnations, see Fred Jones (disambiguation).

Fredricos was the leader of a mystery-solving group from Ancient Greece. He was a Greek version of Fred Jones.

Physical appearance[]

Fredricos resembled the modern-day Fred, being tall, muscular man with blond hair. He wore a white Greek tunic with blue edges along the sleeves and bottom, brown bracelets, sandals, a rope belt, and an orange cape wrapped around his neck similar to Fred's ascot.

Personality[]

Like the modern-day Fred, Fredricos was a very passionate monster-hunter and investigator, having an innate desire to stop monsters around town. Despite his well-meaning intentions, he was not respected by his uncle, Fillan, who considered him a fool. He was incompetent in his pursuits and accidentally abducted Fillan, believing he was posing as a medusa when he was only using the costume for a costume party.

History[]

Early life[]

As Arachne, a spider monster, began terrorizing Athens, Fredricos visited philosopher Shagrates, wanting to prove that the monster was not real. For advice, Shagrates brought Fredricos to consult the Oracle, Scoobymus. There, the three of them formed a team with Princess Velmonia and her servant, Daphne, to investigate Arachne. Eventually, they caught Prince Shlemielius of the nearby city of Antagonos for masterminding the attacks.
