Fred Freiberger was an American writer and producer. He wrote for several Hanna-Barbera TV series, Space: 1999, the live-action Superboy, and was a producer on the third season of Star Trek (starring George Takei and Nichelle Nichols).

Freiberger died in 2003, at the age of 88.
