The Creeper was the disguise of Mr. Carswell.

Physical appearance

Its appearance is practically the same of his original incarnation from the SDWAY episode Jeepers, It's the Creeper, with the only minor change being him having crooked teeth.

Personality

Compared to his original SDWAY incarnation, the Creeper's violent temper was toned down considerably (perhaps to fit into the State Farm commercial's thematic), but the unmasked Mr. Carswell still expresses the same disgust as before, evidenced in his voice tone when he once more addresses the gang as "meddling kids" and then looks downwards in visible shame.

The Creeper jumped out at the Mystery Machine in the middle of the woods, causing Fred Jones to crash. Wondering what to do, Velma Dinkley summoned Lucy Rodas to help out, who was also able to see that the Creeper wasn't real, leading Fred to pull off its mask to reveal Mr. Carswell.

• The Creeper is based on the Creeper from the Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! episode Jeepers, It's the Creeper, where Mr. Carswell was stealing money from the bank he was the president of.
