The motorized skateboard was an invention of Velma Dinkley's for ground transportation when the gang were young adolescents.

It is a long blue-green board that could fit the entire gang on, with green wheels, and a large engine at the back with exhaust pipes sticking out.

They went back to the Coolsonian Museum on the skateboard (since it wasn't in walking distance) to look for clues to clear Shaggy Rogers and Scooby-Doo of the accusation of stealing valuable samurai swords.[1]
