Fearless Shagaford is the head of the Fearless Detective Agency. He employed his nephew, Shaggy Rogers, plus Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo to take cases while he was away on travel.

Physical appearance

Shagaford is a tall, elderly Caucasian male, somewhat resembling Shaggy, with gray hair, which is turning white at the temples. He has a mustache and a goatee and wears a brown suit with a black tie.

Personality

Most of the time he is an unseen presence, giving muffled instructions over the phone to his nephew. From Shaggy's reactions, he often seems angry.

History

Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo (second series)

Season three

He assigned the boys to uncover stolen diamonds at Bugs Burton's mansion, while he was away in Antarctica.[1]

He made a rare appearance in the office after the boys had retrieved all the stolen cars that had been reduced in size by Pistons McGee. Their hard worked seemed to be undone, though, when Scooby innocently reversed the shrink ray while the cars were on Fearless's desk, causing all the cars to smash out the front of the building.[2]
