Ernie was a kid at the camp, where Shaggy Rogers was counseling.
Physical appearance[]
Ernie is a young Caucasian male, with blond hair. He wears a Camp Kichihaha shirt with a brown belt with a golden buckle holding up tan shorts, with a hip holder for pencils. He wore tan shoes and white shoes. In bed, he wears a light blue shirt with a dark blue collar and sleeves, and dark blue drawstring trousers.
Personality[]
He is very smart, knowing how to create high-tech and useful inventions and understanding complex words, but is unable to remember simple ones.

Season three[]
Ernie is in a cabin with Alex, Jake, Shaggy and Scooby. He creates a machine to help toast marshmallows. He encounters the Toxic Terror, and attacks it with pots before using a hose to chase it away. He is present at the petting zoo and identifies the common spider used by Dennis. He is later in cabin "18" when the Terror attacks, and escapes with the others when it is revealed it is actually cabin 13. He escapes alongside the others on a golf cart. While camping at the tennis court, he sneaks away with Alex and Jake and dons his modified sunglasses to find the Toxic Terror, finding a diving suit. They are later chased, along with Shaggy and Scooby, to the tanning tower, which is destroyed by the Toxic Terror. The children are upset, but Shaggy and Scooby offer to help solve the mystery. They investigate the basement of Cabin 13, and are attacked again by the monster which destroys the cabin by dissolving the support beams. They escape into an old tree house, and the monster leaves. Ernie assists the group in capturing the monster with a net, only to find it is Dennis in disguise. The original Terror attacks, and falls into Shaggy and Scooby's trap. After Grey is unmasked and reveals her story, Ernie and the others don their own Toxic Terror costumes and scare Clyde out of the camp.
